DIDN'T MAKE LEXINGTON FLIGHT

SORRY everyone... Due to a delay in getting through imigration, we did not make it on the flight to Lexington like we were scheduled. So, we were rescheduled to be on flight NW5883 landing in Lexington at 10:25 pm. Hopefully everyone that planned on making it to airport sees this before you leave.

Today was a day of mostly packing. We also had the consulate visit today. Boy are we glad to be coming home. See you soon... (Again, we are suppose to land Friday at 4:25 PM.

NO NEW PICTURES TODAY... BORING :)

Today was a slow day... Stuff was going on at the consulate. Therefore, we had to stay in the hotel room until about noon... After that, we did a little bit of the final shopping and came back for an early evening. Sorry... with the wierd day, we did not take any new pictures. Tomorrow we go to the Consulate office to finish all paper work, get US visa, etc. I expect that we will take some pictures and do a final post tomorrow.

We will be leaving China in about 36 hours. We are suppose to land in Lexington at 4:25 PM on a Northwestern plane. Anyone that would like to meet us at the airport is welcome. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.

GARDENS AND MUSEUMS

We went to a garden today. Pretty place with flowers and neat stone stuff. We also went to a museum. Again a nice place to visit... However, it was pretty hot today. Today's posts will give you some of the pictures.

JEWELRY SHOPPING TODAY AND MORE

Today we went to a pearl wholesale store and a jade wholesale store. At the pearl store, we bought some jewelry for Lexi when she gets older. At the jade store, the boys bought a couple of small dragons.

After that shopping, we had Pizza Hut pizza at the hotel. Erika, Jared, and Kelly went to the pool for a little swimming. We took a trip out to buy dinner and some baby stuff (formula, diapers, etc.)

GROUP PHOTO DAY

Today was group photo day. Dress all of the little ones up in pretty chinese clothing and get everyone together for a beautiful picture. Explain it to the children once and they understand that if they sit still and smile for just a minute or two, that the picture time will be over. OR at least that is how it is suppose to go. Normally, half of the kids are crying, scared, etc. :) That is ok. We still get lots of neat pictures of the group. Here are some of them.

We found the small camera. So, now I can put up a couple of pictures from the doctor visit.

One of the pictures is of FuNi (this was the little girl we applied for from special needs. It was neat to see her (in our travel group) with her new family. Three of the pictures show Lexi during the doctor visit. The last picture shows Lexi right after the visit... She was tired.
